These concepts all sprung from the mind of filmmaker Edgar Wright, whose features over the last 15 years have managed to all feel daring and strikingly original even as he wears his references on his metaphorical sleeves.Wright’s first major feature film, Shaun of the Dead, wasn’t released in the United States until the fall of 2004, but its wide release in the United Kingdom was 15 years ago today. So with that milestone in mind (and with the caveat that Wright’s debut film, A Fistful of Fingers, isn’t available on Blu-ray yet, so this writer hasn’t seen it), let’s rank Wright’s films.
